Helping children worldwide
Kids First is Cultural Care Au Pair’s charitable campaign intended to better the lives of children all over the world. Kids First supports child advocacy groups and non-profit organizations benefiting children in need. It provides monetary contributions, necessary supplies and matched funds. It is our hope that through Cultural Care Au Pair’s Kids First campaign we can bring cultures together and invest in the growth and development of children throughout the world.
Kids First raises money through local and national efforts to support our Kids First partners. Cultural Care LCCs all over the country host Kids First events dedicated to raising awareness and collecting donations. And, Cultural Care’s Boston and overseas offices spearhead large-scale fundraising projects for each charity. Cultural Care Au Pair matches all monies raised, dollar for dollar.
In addition to fundraising, Cultural Care supports mission trips and outreach visits to each of the communities we are trying to help. Members of our office staff, LCCs and even host families and au pairs personally deliver news of our progress and witness first-hand the impact of our efforts.
After the success of our first partnership with Orphanage #63, Cultural Care Au Pair decided to expand our Kids First program to reach even more children in need. At the National Meeting in April 2007, we announced our commitment to support three new organizations in three new parts of the world — Casa do Zezinho in Brazil, Ubulhe Babantwana in South Africa and St. Mary’s Academy in New Orleans.
